Cookies on this website
Last updated October 2026. This page is short because there is not much to tell.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep. Some cookies are needed to make a site work, such as keeping you signed in. Others follow you across the internet to show you advertising. We use the first kind only when we need it, and we do not use the second kind at all.
What we set
- No advertising cookies. We do not place advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not let advertising companies place them through our site.
- A session cookie, when there is an account to sign in to. Right now accounts are managed by us personally and there is no self-service sign-in, so this cookie is not in use. When sign-in exists, it will set one cookie whose only job is to keep you signed in. It will not be used for anything else.
- Basic server logs. Like almost every website, our server keeps short-lived logs of requests: the page asked for, the time, and the address the request came from. We use them to keep the site running and to notice if something breaks. They are not used to build a profile of you.
Fonts
The typefaces on this site load from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches a font, Google's servers can see your internet address and which page asked for the font. Google's own privacy policy covers what they do with that. We do not receive anything from it.
Analytics
No analytics tools are installed on this site today. We do not run any tool that counts visitors or watches what they click. If that changes, this page will say exactly which tool we added and what it collects, before it starts collecting.
The sign-up form
When you fill in the sign-up form, what you type is sent to us by email and kept on our server so we can call you back. That is a form submission, not a cookie. Our privacy policy explains what we keep and for how long.
How to control cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you see, block, or delete cookies. The setting is usually under Privacy or Settings:
- Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Site settings or Third-party cookies.
- Safari on a Mac: the Safari menu, then Settings, then Privacy.
- Safari on an iPhone or iPad: the Settings app, then Safari, then the Privacy section.
- Firefox: Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions.
Blocking all cookies will not break the pages you can read on this site. It would stop you staying signed in once sign-in exists, and that is all.
If you would rather not load fonts from Google, your browser or a content blocker can block them. The site will fall back to a standard typeface and still work.
